Enriching Programs: Your support directly funds our diverse and unique range of dance and education programs, offering students access to industry level learning, professional teachers, choreographers and resources.
Scholarships and Financial Aid: We believe talent and creative curiousness should know no boundaries. Your donation will help us provide a new scholarship and financial aid program to deserving students, ensuring that everyone has the chance to take part.
Community Outreach: Beyond our studio walls, we would like to reach out to more underserved communities, bringing the joy of dance and movement to those who may not have access otherwise.
Projects & Performances: Your contribution also supports the creation of inspirational performances and the realisation of artistic projects. From designing and sourcing captivating costumes to supporting and staffing the management and staging of our annual Origins Dance Festival, your donation will help us bring our creative visions to life and support our studio to continue to provide young dancers with opportunities to create, learn and perform.
I believe in and have experienced firsthand the transformative power of movement and dance—first through my own journey as a performer and then during my 30-year career as a dance teacher and educator. With alumni students creating, dancing, and teaching around the world, I’m incredibly proud of the legacy we’ve built together. I want to keep inspiring and providing these creative and memorable opportunities for the next generation of dancers and as many children and young people as possible.
I know every step taken in my studio is a leap towards fostering creativity, building confidence, and nurturing young bodies and minds. This is my passion, and I truly believe every child should have these opportunities.
The heart of what I do lies in the fact that we are an independent, artist-run studio. However, because of this, I don’t receive any regular core funding to support the studio’s day-to-day operations or the running of classes and projects for my students. The entire studio is managed by me as the sole full-time member of staff. As the studio enters its fifth year, I now need your support to carry on and expand the work I do.
With your help, I can continue to empower our local dance community and nurture future performers, dance artists, teachers, choreographers, and creative leaders.
