WHICH LEVEL IS SUITABLE FOR YOU?

  • Perfect for those who have not danced before, or have not tried these styles of dance before.

Our beginner classes are perfectly suited to those who are new to the school or who have not done any dance classes before.

These classes move slowly enough for students to learn the basics and get used to being in the studio, with the opportunity to learn and practice creative movement.

  • We recommend improvers level classes for students who have taken dance classes recently, whether with us at Smikle Dance Studio or elsewhere.

Improvers level classes are suitable for those who danced in their youth or take dance classes regularly.

  • Our advanced classes are fast-paced and tough, for those who have a very good knowledge of technique.

This class is commonly full of those who have had a background in dance vocationally, who trained when they were younger or have danced consistently throughout their life.

  • Our general Contemporary dance classes are classes open to all levels.

The technique and exercises may be quite difficult for beginners, however if you enjoy a challenge then this might be the class for you.
